Getting started
What is LeveBase?
A life organizer in one app: planner and calendar, tasks and routine, complete finances, well-being, menstrual cycle with a journal, focus, and household management. The idea is to take the weight of disorganization off you and give you clarity — at your own pace.
How do I install the app on my phone?
LeveBase is a web app (PWA) — no store needed. On your phone, open the app in your browser and use Settings › "Install app". On iPhone (Safari), tap Share › "Add to Home Screen". It then opens like a regular app, including offline.
Do I need to use every section?
No. In Settings › "App sections" you turn on only what makes sense for you — someone who doesn't track a cycle, for example, can hide that section. You also choose this when creating your account, and can change it anytime.
Can I change the colors / use dark mode?
Yes, and there are five. In Settings › Theme: Auto (the brand default, navy and gold), Rosé, Sereno (neutral), Escuro, and Noturno. All are free — theme has never sat behind a subscription. The choice is saved on your device.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The app keeps your most recent data on the device, so it opens fast even without internet. Anything you create offline syncs automatically once the connection returns.
Household & sharing
How do I share with my household?
In Settings › Household, tap "Create household" and then "Generate invite" — choose the person's role and share the code. They join via Settings › Household › "Join" and enter the code.
What can each role see and do?
There are five shareable things: calendar, finances, tasks, shopping list, and goals. Each role comes with a default:
Household owner: edits everything, and is who manages the household (invite, remove, adjust permissions).
Adult: edits calendar, finances, tasks, shopping, and goals. Sees the member list, but doesn't manage the household.
Teen: edits tasks and shopping list; views the calendar and goals without being able to edit; doesn't see finances.
Child: edits tasks; views the calendar and shopping list without being able to edit; doesn't see finances or goals.
The household owner can adjust, person by person, all five permissions in "Customize permissions": calendar, finances, tasks, shopping, and goals. Without an adjustment, each permission follows the role.
Is my data visible to the household?
Only the five shareable kinds: calendar, tasks, shopping list, household finances, and goals. Your cycle, health, self-care, habits, and focus blocks are always private — no one in the household sees them, and there isn't even the option to share them. Finances are invisible to the Teen and Child roles. Details on Security.
Can someone in my household take over my tasks?
Yes, and you decide. On a day you record your energy as Low or Crisis Mode, the app shows the tasks that didn't fit into your day and offers to pass some of them to another adult in the household — one tap, and you can undo it.
What the other person sees: only the tasks, and how many. They never see your energy level, your cycle, your symptoms, or any reason — not that day, not later. This isn't a setting anyone could switch off by accident: your energy level isn't household data at all, it's only yours, so there is nowhere for the app to show it from.
Passing one task at a time is free, from inside the task itself. Having the app choose which ones and move them all at once is part of the Family plan.
Can I leave the household later? What happens to my data?
Yes, via Settings › Household › "Leave household". What you created goes back to being yours alone (it stops being shared). If you're the household owner, leaving ends the household for everyone.
Does the invite code expire?
Yes — each code is good for one person and expires in 7 days. Generate a new one if you need to.
Finances
How does the app help me get clarity with money?
You log income and expenses (Entries), set budgets and fixed costs (Planning), and the app shows cash flow, month forecast, and net worth. It also warns you when you go over budget or when the month is heading negative.
Can I use more than one currency?
Yes. Each entry has its own currency and the app groups totals by currency — useful for anyone living in or earning across different countries.
What is "Net Worth"?
Your net worth: the sum of your assets (investments, property, retirement savings, reserve) minus your debts. Update it whenever you want to track how it evolves.
How long is my history kept?
There's no automatic deletion — your financial history and your journal stay available year after year, and you can export everything whenever you want.
Cycle & well-being
How does cycle tracking work?
Log the start of your period whenever it arrives. With 2+ periods logged, the app calculates your real average cycle length and estimates upcoming phases — you don't need to know the numbers ahead of time.
Can I log symptoms and mood?
Yes, in the journal — symptoms, mood, flow, and notes per day. That history is yours and great to bring to a doctor.
I don't want to track cycle. Can I hide it?
Yes. When creating your account you choose whether you want this section, and at any time you can hide it in Settings › App sections.
Privacy & data
Where is my data stored?
In a managed database (Cloudflare D1), handled in line with LGPD. You can export or delete all your data at any time, in Settings.
How is my health data handled?
Sensitive data (cycle, symptoms, mood) is only collected after you give explicit consent, which we ask for the first time you open one of those areas — not at signup. If you never open them, that consent is never asked for or recorded, and no health data is stored. It is always private, never shared with your household, and you can export or delete it at any time.
How do I export all my data?
Settings › "Export my data" — you download a complete copy in JSON (tasks, events, accounts, cycle, goals, etc.).
How do I delete my account?
Settings › "Delete my account". This permanently deletes your account and everything inside it — tasks, calendar, finances, cycle, health, notes, goals. The key that encrypts your sensitive data lives with your account, so deleting it makes what was encrypted unreadable forever. The action cannot be undone: export first if you want to keep a copy.
If you're the household owner, deleting your account ends the household. Other members' data goes back to being theirs alone — it is not deleted.
One thing is left out, and it's fair you know it: if you left your email on the site at some point (waitlist, newsletter), that subscription isn't part of your account and doesn't leave with it. Request removal via Contact and we'll remove it.
Do you sell my data or track everything I do?
No. We don't sell data. We use only anonymous product metrics (events like "created household", with no health or finance values) to improve the app — with no screen recording or capturing of screen content.
Notifications
How do I get reminders about bills and the day?
Turn on notifications in Settings › Notifications. You get a daily digest with bills due, appointments, pending tasks, and financial alerts.
Can I choose the time of the digest?
Yes — in Settings › Notifications, choose the time (in your time zone). Useful for shift workers or people on different schedules.
I turned on notifications but nothing arrives.
Confirm you allowed notifications in your browser/system.
On iPhone, notifications only work with the app installed on the Home Screen.
The daily digest arrives once a day, at the chosen time — not on every action.
Plans & payment
Is LeveBase free?
Yes, there's a generous free plan that covers the essentials — and on the free plan, your history and data export remain available. Advanced features and household use are on the paid plans.
What's the difference between the plans?
Free: planner, tasks, well-being, cycle + journal, and basic finances.
Premium: complete financial planning (forecast, net worth, alerts) and the AI assistant (beta) — which works with your own API key and has not been through our end-to-end tests yet (see the question right below).
Family: everything in Premium for up to 6 people + sharing with roles and permissions.
Themes are not a paid feature. All five are on the free plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 7 days of Premium, no card required. You activate it in Settings › Plan, on the "Try Premium" button — we don't ask for payment details and don't charge anything at the end; when the trial ends, the account simply returns to the free plan and nothing you created is deleted.
It's once per account, and only available while you're on the free plan. Sometimes we extend the trial ourselves — free, still no card, when a feature has not had time to show what it does — and we email you when that happens. While the trial is active, the Plan screen always shows the date it ends, including after an extension.
Does the AI assistant (beta) need my own key?
This feature is in beta: it has not been through our automated end-to-end tests yet, and it may not work as expected.
It does need a key, and on purpose. The assistant uses an API key that you provide, stored only on your device — it never passes through our servers. The text you type goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose, and the cost of those requests is billed by the provider, not by us.
This keeps Premium's price low and keeps you in control of where your text goes. The honest trade-off: without a key, the assistant does not work, even on Premium — everything else in the plan works normally.
What will show up on my card statement?
Who bills you depends on how you pay — and what actually applies is always the name on your receipt and card statement, not this page. There are three cases: for purchases made in Japan (monthly or yearly), the seller may be LeveBase itself (Daniel Itiro Tikamori, 個人事業主), with Stripe acting only as the payment processor — the charge comes from neither Link nor PayPro. Outside Japan, on yearly plans, the charge appears as PAYPRO*LEVEBASE: payments are taken by PayPro Global, our billing partner for yearly subscriptions, which issues the receipt and handles local tax. Outside Japan, on monthly plans, the charge appears as LINK.COM* LEVEBASE: payments are taken by Link, which issues the receipt and handles tax — which is why its name comes before ours — and receipts and invoices arrive by email from Link, marked "Sold through Link". Your receipt names which of the three applied to your own purchase — that is the document to check if you need to know.
Don't recognise a charge? Talk to us before disputing it with your bank — we can sort it out faster, and a dispute locks your account while the bank reviews it.
How do I cancel?
Any time, no penalty. If your receipt comes from PayPro Global — the case for yearly plans outside Japan — you can cancel, change your card and see your billing history yourself at cc.payproglobal.com, using the same email you paid with. If your receipt comes from Link — the case for monthly plans outside Japan — you can do everything yourself at link.com, using the same email you paid with. If your receipt comes from neither — the case for purchases made in Japan — cancel in Settings › Plan, or contact us through the contact form. Either way, you request the refund from us.
You keep access until the end of the period already paid for and your data remains yours (with export available).
Common issues
I signed in and don't see my data.
It's usually the connection. Pull down to reload; if an "offline" notice appears, your data comes back once the internet stabilizes. Also confirm you signed into the same account.
A section disappeared from the menu.
It may be hidden. Go to Settings › App sections and turn it back on. In households, finances are hidden from the Teen and Child roles.
I can't sign in / forgot my password.
Use "Forgot my password" on the sign-in screen, or sign in with Google. If you used Google to create the account, always sign in with Google.
A bill marked as paid came back.
Recurring bills automatically generate the next occurrence when you mark the current one as paid — that's expected. To stop it, edit the bill and remove the recurrence.
The app looks out of date.
Close and reopen it, or reload the page — the app updates itself the next time it opens.
