I'm Daniel — a developer, Brazilian, living in Japan. LeveBase started because I wanted to build something for one household: ours. No off-the-shelf app handled real life here — two countries, two currencies, and days that simply don't run at the same speed.
Every productivity app we tried assumes you're the same person every day: same energy, same capacity, same list. Real life isn't like that — energy varies, for a thousand reasons (cycle, sleep, work, life itself). When the plan ignores that, the app becomes one more source of guilt. LeveBase does the opposite: you declare how your day is, and the plan adapts to you — never the other way around, and never with judgment. We call this planning by the day's energy, and it's the backbone of everything in the app.
LeveBase is made by the two of us: I handle the technical side; my wife is the visionary for how the app should work for people living this day-to-day life for real — every flow passes the test "would this help our household?". It's a product of Zaiketz, a sole proprietorship registered in Japan (kojin jigyo / 個人事業); the full identification of who is responsible for the company is, as the law requires, in the Terms of Service and on the 特定商取引法 page.
Building an app my own wife uses changes the standard. What you write about your cycle, health, and self-care — symptoms, mood, notes, medication, exam results — is encrypted in the database with a key unique to your account. For exam results that includes the marker name you typed, the result, the unit and the reference range. Dates are not encrypted — neither your period dates nor the date of an exam — because the app needs to do arithmetic on them to calculate your cycle length, predict upcoming phases, and show how a marker moves over time; the same applies to some numeric fields, like pain intensity. We'd rather say that than promise more than we deliver — the Security page lists exactly what is and isn't encrypted. None of this appears to the rest of the household (even on the shared plan), never feeds into analytics, and is never sold — we don't run ads. What we collect (and what we don't) is in the Privacy Policy.
Built for households whose days don't run at one constant speed, wherever life takes you. If your household juggles two currencies, two time zones, and two worlds to keep organized without duplicating effort, that's already in the design. And it's for anyone whose days don't run at a constant speed. If that's you, we built it for you.
