LeveBase keeps your planner, finances, and menstrual cycle in the same place — which only works if you can trust that each kind of data is handled differently. This page explains, in plain terms, how that really works (not just a promise in a contract).
When you create or join a household in LeveBase, only five kinds of data can be shared, and only if you allow it: calendar, finances, tasks, shopping list, and goals. All five can be adjusted person by person (view, edit, or none). Without an adjustment, each one follows the person's role in the household — for goals, for example, the household owner and adults edit, teens view, and children don't view.
Menstrual cycle, health logs, self-care, habits, and focus blocks always stay in your personal space — they don't even have the option to become shareable.
This is a guarantee about who in your household can see, not about encryption. We do not offer end-to-end encryption: our servers can technically decrypt this data to operate the service, and dates — both cycle dates and exam dates — and some structured fields (for example, the numeric pain intensity) are kept without encryption out of technical necessity. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what is and isn't encrypted.
You can turn on a lock PIN on your device, independent of sign-in. The PIN never leaves your device — it's verified locally, never sent to the server. Useful if you share a phone or laptop with your household.
We don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. We use aggregated, anonymized analytics (PostHog, servers in the European Union) only to understand what works in the app — never specific health or financial values. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of who processes each kind of data.
We appreciate responsible disclosure. Talk to us describing the issue and how to reproduce it.
